DVR's Eventing, polo and tackless rider Josey

Hi! I’m Josey and I do a little bit of everything with my horses ranging from Eventing and playing Polo to riding tackless!

I have owned Brett (Millfields Flight) for 5 years now and I can honestly say this little pony still amazes me everyday.

.

Brett came from a background of showing and dressage and with me as his new jockey his eventing career began! Brett and I have successfully competed at BE90 level and have been part of many Pony Club Teams and Events.

 .

Natural Horsemanship and watching Free Rider Alycia Burton on YouTube has always inspired me. As time went on I noticed how trainable Brett was, especially with small tricks such as teaching him how to smile! With his intelligent mindset I taught Brett a few more tricks and eventually tackless.

Riding tackless has not only improved my riding but also allowed me to build a bond and get to know my horses better. I love creating YouTube videos and looking back at them to see how far my horses and I have come.

Ruffian (OFS Ruffian) is the newest member of the family and the youngest; I got him as a 4yr old. Ruffian also has a very trainable mindset, he loves to learn and as a result I am also teaching him tackless. Future plans with Ruffian are to eventually event him and to be able to ride him tackless.
